ASEANAPOL Secretariat and IACP IMPACT Section Host International Online Meeting Focused on Officer Wellness and Global Policing Initiatives

On July 24, 2024, the ASEANAPOL Secretariat, in partnership with the International Association of Chiefs of Police (IACP) IMPACT Section, conducted an online IACP IMPACT Section Quarterly ZOOM Meeting. The IACP, an Observer organization of ASEANAPOL, hosted the event, which included presentations and networking opportunities under the theme: "IACP International Endeavors plus Officer Wellness Training and Resources." The event featured presentations conducted in English, with simultaneous translation into spoken Spanish, ensuring accessibility for a diverse audience. The meeting featured the following distinguished presenters:

The event saw active participation from approximately 330 attendees, including representatives from ASEANAPOL member countries and various international partners such as the USA, Canada, UAE, Kosovo, Mexico, and others. This diverse attendance underscored the global interest in and commitment to enhancing policing practices and officer wellness.
The online meeting provided a valuable platform for exchanging knowledge, sharing best practices, and fostering international collaboration. It also strengthened the ties between ASEANAPOL and the IACP, paving the way for future cooperative efforts to address common challenges in law enforcement.
